Status LED Colours
The Evoko displays have three status LED colors:
Green - The room is free for more than 10 minutes.
Amber - A meeting is about to start in less than 10 minutes and/or the room requires check-in.
Red - The room is busy (amber trumps red in conflicting scenarios e.g. for back 2 back meetings).
If you are at the using a computer you can use this https://evokohome.combient.com to access the room booking portal.
Please note, the website will not work on a mobile phone. In order to book a room using a phone please install and setup the Evoko 'Get a room' app using the instructions below.
You can change your password for Evoko from within the Evoko Home web portal.
To do so, you must first login and then click on the icon (picured) on the top right of the page, then click on Change Password
To book a room, simply login to the Evoko Home portal
If you need help finding a room of a suitable size or with specific features, such as video conferencing, you can also use the filters at the top of the screen
Once logged in, you will see an overview of the calendar for each meeting room and on the right hand side of the screen you will see other room bookings you have.
To book a room, click on the time you require, in the time line of your chosen room.
Use the popup to adjust meeting length and name the meeting using the format: Your name/Company Name
Then click book to confirm.
If needed, you can edit your own meetings by clicking on them.
Note: Meetings booked by others will be coloured in a darker red and your own meetings in bright red.
The Get A Room App is a great way to compliment the Evoko Booking portal as it gives you a mobile client to book meeting rooms and to view your existing meetings.
The app allows you to use filters like time, capacity & equipment to easily find a room.
The setup process for the app is simple and the same for both iOS and Android. The app can be downloaded for iOS on the Apple App Store and Android on the Google Play store.
When you open up the Get A Room App for the first time you will be prompted to enter some credentials to setup the app.
Email: Enter your email address
Hostname: evokohome.combient.com
Port: 8444
Hit the Get Started button and you should get a prompt to authenticate by email and a timer counting down from 10 minutes to let you know how long the email is valid.
Check your inbox for an email from
general-services@combient.com
Open the email and press "Activate".
Now after a few seconds, navigate back to the App it should be activated and ready to use! 🎉
To book a room using the app, touch the sections highlighted in green to set the requirements to your needs. The app will then suggest suitable rooms that are available.
Please note it is important that you name the meeting in the following format: Your name/Company Name
In order to book a room for an instant meeting, simply look for a green light on the Evoko device, touch the screen and press BOOK Adjust the meeting length and press BOOK to confirm.
You will then be required to enter your pin to complete the booking.
The screen will confirm the room is booked and LED will change to red.
If you need to extend an on-going meeting, simply hit the extend button on the touch panel
You will then be required to enter your pin to complete the booking.
